One sunny day

A sunny day in February. Stepped out to our backyard. I wanted to check out my new camera. I think I did well on close shots and long shots. I also wanted to post the pictures in my new exiting activity (this blog). I guess I am trying to divert from what I am suppose to be doing....packing.

Flowers in the garden are blooming.

Two doves flew up to the tree next door. Appears like they are lovers. They are always together.

Check the basketball board.

The wisteria wrapped around the basketball court are about ready to sprout it's beautiful purple flowers.

Back to the Island

Back to work today. Just finished my cup of coffee. Need to clean house then head back. Stalling a little, heard on TV that I-80 is foggy.

Noctornal

Perry Mason is on and the love of my life is asleep. I always tease him about the TV watching him instead of him watching TV. I envy him. Once he hits the bed he is gone.I on the other hand is wide awake. I work nights so trying to go to bed on the same time is a struggle. I need to adjust big time pretty soon. So I am here blogging away.

Sacramento

Visited Monte's office today. It is at the Federal Building in Sacramento. Since it is a Holiday ( President's Day) there are not too many people there. Have to go through badging and etc.. It is the first time I visited his Sac Office. I was surprised how big his office is. I have been in all of his previous offices( Bayer & Genentech) but this is the biggest by far.

Had breakfast @ The Waffle House downtown Sac.

Went shopping @ Sunrise Mall. Have to get my cosmetics @ Macy's. It's the only thing I actually buy there. Quite embarrassed entered Macy's Men's. Did not realize the Macy's women's is @ the other end of the Mall. Now I know.

From Macy's left for TJ Maxx about a couple of miles away. Did not stay too long. I was wearing sweats and I felt like I was inside an oven. It was 72 degrees. Did not know that it will get this hot. I need to get used to the temperature here compared to the Bay Area.

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. Left if the card that I got from my Hubby nothing fancy but it's kind of cute and sweet. "I make him melt" Ahhhh. After all the years we tried to be practical and not spent money we do not have. We`will be heading to our other house tonight. I will be off tomorrow from work and he is as well.

I wanted to pack up but I guess I am in denial. I do not know where to start. I really do not want to move...again. It is depressing me. I wish we could keep the house in the island, Alameda that is. I love the weather here. it is just a mile to the beach, very close to everything. I did not use to like the area because I used to get lost but now I know where everything is but it is not practical. I will be living in Sac so what is the point of keeping the house. I suggested to have it rented but hubby does not want to go through the hassle of being a landlord. He wants his weekend home not in the busy bay area but up in the foothills where he could be surrounded by trees.

Looking into houses for sale on line......ahhhh Granite Bay with at least an acre. Bigger...I want my own office, laundry room, and I want my vegetable garden. Fruit trees would be a plus. Can I persuade my hubby?? We'll see.

Beginning

Tonight Got home early from work. It is midnight and I am wide awake. Nothing worthwhile on TV, thus this blog is created. Just my thoughts!
