Tax Day

Appointment with the tax lady. I guess we will find out if we have to pay or get something back...... Well one of the two guaranteed in life!

Health and food

Food have been my downfall all my life. I love it and that is the problem. For the past couple of months I have been trying to eat healthy. I like to go to Trader Joe's. They have these great pre-packed salads and they are excellent. It is a little costly but, I like the selections it is very convenient. It is like food to go. Also I got to have the flower bouquet. Hubby loves them too. Below are just some of the one's I like. The Chicken BBQ is excellent

Founder's Cup Quarter Finals

Well, this weekend we were back in Morgan Hill. it's the quarter finals. The schedule of the games was changed due to the condition of the grass turf. They decided all of the games will be at the artificial turf.

The game was in the evening, 7:00pm. It was cold and windy. I am so glad I brought my beanie, gloves, and another jacket. The sun setting looked so nice.

The game against the Mustangs was exiting. Adrenaline won 4-2. I have chores to do so I stayed up again as usual.

Sundays game was at 12:00 so we left @ about 10:00. It was overcast.

Game with the girls from Clovis, Ca was intense. Cannot believe how one parent was just yelling to the girls about pushing. She is only seeing our girls but not theirs. It is part of the game. Unbelievable. Hubby predicted it will be a game where it will be just a goal and he is right. A penalty kick.

It ended sooner that they wanted, I think that the party after the game where some of the girls attended affected their performance. Also some of the girls was not there who could have helped. Well, they tried...

Soccer, Soccer, & more Soccer

Weekend was busy but I would say I spent all of it next to the love of my life. Saturday I was awaken to get ready. We have to be in Morgan Hill (South of San Jose) @ 11:00AM. Once again it is the "Founder's Cup" Soccer tournament. We have done this yearly for the last five years.

Saturday was nice, warm, and sunny. The game was good. The team scored 9 to zero. They were no match. At the first half Adrenalin scored 5 and the second half the opponents obviously gave up.

Today, was a different story. the first game was at 8:00AM so we have to leave real early. It was cold and the field was just wet and muddy. I was wearing my favorite shoes and got it all dirty and wet. The sky was gray and I thought it would rain, actually felt few drops.

We had lunch @ Scrambles or I guess you could say brunch. I was not impressed with what I ordered. Hmmmmm Portuguese Omelet? Never have it before and will not have it again. The only thing that was really good was the coffee. It really hit the spot.

The last game was exiting. Both of the teams are pretty matched. The girls are physical and the ref is just calling stupid calls? just because our coach do not want to start earlier than scheduled? I think that was ____ on the ref's part. They won the game 5-0. I guess that's all that matters. They won all of their games so they are up for the quarter final game. So next weekend we will be in Morgan Hill again. I am hoping for a sunny and dry day.

We got home by 3:45PM. Hubby and I crashed. We were exhausted. It was 5:30PM and he left for Sac..............and again I am home alone.
