Thanksgiving Weekend

Snow

I have been monitoring the weather all day online. I know that it is going to be snowing at the foothills. I left work and got to the house to pick stuff I prepared to bring. I wanted to stop at Costco but once I got to Sunrise Blvd and getting closer to I-50 it started to rain really hard. I decided I can live without going to Costco. The drive to the cabin was slow. About 21:00 snow started to fall. i am quite excited. My first snow at the cabin.

I woke up in the morning and this is what I see at the deck. All of the trees are covered with snow. It is beautiful, so white.

The hot tub's dome cover and the pool's cover is covered with snow as well.

About 10:00 the sun came out and most of the snow on the trees started to fall.

Hubby took the opportunity to burn the files of branches at the front yard and at the side of the house. He have three big piles and all of them burned. It took him all morming to burn them.

Since it was raining all weekend I stayed indoors and installed curtains in our bedroom. This is before

Birthday weekend

Saturday very nice day. It was warm and sunny. You can see the mountains. It was nippy when I woke up and wore sweats. I have a day planned of installing the drapes about 10:00 it started to get really warm. The deck was filled with fallen leaves fron the oak tree so I blow the leaves. I cannot believe how warm it was I am wearing my sundress. Finished bedroom 3 and I started the TV room. There is a problem with the curtain short? I do not understand,

Hubby continued clearing the back of the house. It sloops down and he did not want to go up and down and he brought one of the plastic patio chairs with him. He is finished clearing the front and one of the sides of the house. He has four  big piles already. Hopefully they will be dry on winter so he could burn them.

Saturday night I decided to put together the Air Hockey table. It has been sitting in our dining area for the last three weeks.

Done! but......Hubby and I were disappointed. We were about to play once we got it up, plug it and it does not work.

Sunday, my birthday a buck was in our backyard. he was eating the leaves from the branches that hubby have cut down. When it saw me taking pictures it ran away.
