Easter Sunday

Easter..One of the holidays that I spend with my family. Drove to Mom and Dad's house. Hubby decided not to go with me. He wants to do as much as he can on his project. he is tiling the laundry room on the Alameda home. Before I left I helped him load the truck with all the boxes that I have packed ready to go. A heavy storm is suppose to be heading to the bay area so we made sure that in case it will rain on his way to Sacramento the boxes will be safe.

Got to Mom's before 2:00pm and stopped @ China Palace to pickup shrimp that my sister ordered for me. One of my sisters was already getting the pancit's ingredients for me to cook and they left to the bay area after 3:00pm. My brother-in-law is scheduled to work. Food lots of it as usual . Can't help stuffing my face.

Everybody was there. My youngest nephew is now four so my sister-in-law decided not to have an egg hunt and besides it is raining. They decided to bake cookies, make the dough, and decorate them instead. It was nice to see all of them taking turns on rolling the dough and flour all over the place including their faces. They were very creative. One made a tree, a finger, a bunny, flower, etc. I get to eat the tree.

They also brought a bag of balloons. I helped them blow. It was funny how my youngest nephew was amused on why the balloons sticks to his head like horns when I rubbed it to his hair. He was screaming "Mommy Mommy look"and run to see his image on the mirror. He was hilarious. I asked my mom where she keeps the old pictures she brought out old albums when we were young. Asked our nephews and nieces who is in the picture and they said "me"! it's their dad's baby picture. We had few laughs.

I was not being mean but, I asked my nephew to play with his wii he is watching something on one of the TVs. I wanted to watch the NCAA Women's basketball final four games. Oklahoma vs Stanford and UConn vs Baylor. As predicted the teams to play for the Championship is Stanford vs UConn. Rallying for the Cardinal.... Go Stanford!

Left @ 9:00pm. The drive from Stockton to Sacramento was scarry. It was raining hard all the way and you can't see the line separators on the freeway. It took me longer than usual but I made it safe.
