The leaves on the pool cover gone.
I have been bugging Hubby to take me to a Christmas Tree Farm. Need to have a Christmas Tree - We also have one in Carmichael. He has been hesitating but Sunday morning we went to one on Starks Grade Rd. I saw a sign by the road and we do not know exactly where it is at. It is called Dan Lee's Christmas Tree Farm. We keep driving on a long, windy, deserted road and there is no sight of the Farm, then there are decorated trees along the road. A very pleasant man greeted us. we can pick any tree we want for twenty five bucks. We have to cut it ourselves. Free popcorn and coffee - you should have seen my eyes light up!
It was cold and the grass and the trees are wet. We walked around hoping to find the perfect one. Eureka we found one.
We carried the tree to the truck. I was wet. We got home and we brought the tree down from the truck. We cracked up so hard. The tree is crocked. It looked like the letter "S". I started to mount it to the base it is too crocked. I picked the tree to the garage and cut the bottom still would not stay up if I try to straighten it. It will tip over. I went and picked the hand saw and cut it one more time. Well, better this time. We could have done better. We can pick any tree we wanted but, end up with Charlie Brown's
Christmas Tree.
